From the production process point of view, both hollow aluminum and Aluminum Solid Panel are extruded after being heated by aluminum rods. The difference between the two lies in the different extrusion dies used, so what extrusion dies are used for the two types of profiles?

1. Hollow aluminum profile

When hollow aluminum profiles are processed, a plane splitter combined extrusion die is generally used, which is composed of two parts, an upper die and a lower die. The components of the upper mold include split holes, mold cores, working belts, and empty cutters, etc. The components of the lower mold include welding chambers, mold holes, working belts, and empty cutters, etc. The main working principle is that the material enters the cavity through the split holes Inside, uses the shunt holes to distribute the aluminum alloy reasonably, and determines the size of the shunt holes according to the cross-sectional size of the aluminum profile. When extruding, the shunt holes should be slightly inclined outwards to reduce the pressure in the cavity. The internal shape of the profile is mainly fixed by the mold core. The height of the lower mold welding chamber must be more than 10mm to keep the mold core stable. The aluminum alloy material of the shunt hole is collected in the welding chamber, and then under the effect of high temperature and high pressure. The die exits.

2. Aluminum Solid Panel

When the solid aluminum profile is processed, there is no need for upper and lower molds. It only needs to be processed on a mold and then extruded. The extrusion die is relatively simple. Although the solid aluminum profile is heavier than the hollow aluminum profile, the extrusion ability is stronger and more Strong, but in actual production, hollow aluminum profiles are more widely used than solid aluminum profiles.
