1. Coil usually refers to a loop of wire winding. The most common coil applications are motors, inductors, transformers, and loop antennas. The coil in the circuit refers to the inductor. The guiding wires are wound one by one, the wires are insulated from each other, and the insulating tube can be hollow, or it can contain an iron core or a magnetic powder core, referred to as an inductor. Inductance can be divided into fixed inductance and variable inductance. Fixed inductance coil is referred to as inductance or coil. Expressed by L, the units are Henry (H), Milli Henry (mH), Micro Henry (uH), 1H=10^3mH=10^6uH.

 

2. KM1 is the symbol of the AC contactor. There are main contacts, auxiliary contacts, electromagnetic coils, etc. in the structure of the AC contactor. When the solenoid coil is turned on or off, the main contact can be turned on and off to drag the circuit; the auxiliary contact has two types: normally open and normally closed. The clever application of auxiliary contacts in the control loop can achieve various control purposes such as self-protection and interlocking.

 

3. The difference is as follows: There are both KM1 switch and KM1 coil on one wire. It may be the self-protection function on the starting circuit. Because the start button is normally open, there will be no current supply to the coil when you let go, and the contractor will stop working. In order to make the contactor work continuously, connect the normally open auxiliary contact of KM1 in parallel with the button. After the contactor coil is energized, the normally open auxiliary contact is closed. At this time, when the button is released, there is still working current flowing through the coil, and the contactor is closed. The continuous work went on. When you want to stop working, press the stop button. The stop button is normally closed. When it is pressed, it opens. There is no current in the coil and the contactor stops working. The KM1 normally open auxiliary contact is also disconnected, and the coil is closed. Can't keep the power on by myself.

 

4. The coil is a part of the AC contactor, which is the most common low-voltage control electrical appliance used in electric drive and automatic control systems. As an actuator, it is used to connect and disconnect lines, or frequently control the operation of electric motors and other equipment. It is composed of moving and static main contacts, arc extinguishing cover, moving and static iron cores, auxiliary contacts, and bracket shell. After the electromagnetic coil is energized, the movable iron core is attracted under the action of the electromagnetic force, and the movable contact is contacted with the static contact directly or through a lever transmission, and the circuit is connected. After the electromagnetic coil is de-energized, the moving iron core automatically returns under the action of the return spring, commonly known as release, the contacts are separated, and the circuit is broken.
