The Service Life Of Color Coated Aluminum Coil Under Normal Conditions

Due to the different uses and environmental conditions of Color Coated Aluminum Coil, there are many factors affecting their service life. According to their service functions, the service life of color coated aluminum coil can be divided into the following types:

1) Decorative service life refers to the defects such as subjective fading, pulverization, cracking and partial peeling of coating on the surface of color coated aluminum coil. It has an impact on the image and beauty of the building, but it has not yet reached the extent that the coating sheet loses its protective effect.

2) The service life of coating renovation refers to the service time when most defects such as delamination and rust spots occur on the surface of color coated aluminum coil, resulting in further corrosion of the substrate.

3) The ultimate service life refers to the time when the color coated aluminum coil is used for a long time without renovation until serious corrosion occurs and cannot be used again.

Service life of renovation: 12~20 years;

Ultimate service life: more than 20 years.
