Do You Know How To Classify Galvanized Steel Composite Panels

Galvanized Steel Composite Panel refers to a steel panel with a layer of zinc on its surface. Galvanizing is an economical and effective antirust method, and about half of the world's zinc production is used in this process.

According to the production and processing methods can be divided into the following categories:

1. Hot dip galvanized steel panel. Immersing the steel panel in a molten zinc bath to make the surface of the steel panel adhere with a layer of zinc. At present, the continuous galvanizing process is mainly used, that is, the rolled steel panel is continuously immersed in a plating bath melted with zinc to make galvanized steel panel.

2. Alloyed galvanized steel panel. This kind of steel panel is also made by hot dip method, but it is heated to about 500℃ immediately after coming out of the tank, so that it can form an alloy film of zinc and iron. This galvanized panel has good adhesion and weldability of coating.

3. Galvanized steel panel. The galvanized steel panel manufactured by electroplating has good workability. However, the coating is thin and its corrosion resistance is inferior to that of hot dip galvanized panel.

4. Single-sided galvanized steel panel and double-sided galvanized steel panel. Single-sided galvanized steel panel, that is, products galvanized on only one side. Compared with double-sided galvanized panel, it has better adaptability in welding, painting, antirust treatment and processing.

5. Alloy and composite galvanized steel panels. It is an alloy made of zinc and other metals, such as aluminum, lead, zinc, etc., or even a composite paneld steel panel. This kind of steel panel not only has excellent antirust performance, but also has good coating performance.

In addition to the above five kinds, there are colored galvanized steel panels, printed galvanized steel panels, PVC laminated galvanized steel panels, etc. But hot dip galvanized panel is still the most commonly used one at present.
